MULTIPURPOSE TUG

MULTI-PURPOSE WORKBOAT FOR OFFSHORE WORK, TRANSPORT AND DREDGING

Multipurpose tugs are ships used for many different jobs in offshore work today. They have strong winches, an offshore crane, and a deck made of wood planks. Besides towing offshore construction ships and handling anchors and buoys, they are also used to deliver supplies and help with dredging. Because they sit low in the water, they are great for working near the coast and in shallow waters. Their powerful engines help them move safely even in strong ocean currents.
