* THE VESSELS SHOWN HERE ARE EXEMPLARY MODELS ONLY.
Mini crew transfer vessels are small ships used for quickly moving offshore workers and small tools or spare parts. The front of the boat has a bumper system (fender) that helps it safely approach wind turbines or accommodation ships, making it easy for people to board. These vessels can carry up to 12 people and can be loaded onto larger support ships or launched into the water using a crane or launch system. Depending on the design, they can travel at speeds between 30 and 40 knots (around 70 km/h) and are powered by either outboard or inboard motors. The hulls are usually made from materials like fiberglass, aluminium, or Kevlar. The superstructure (top part) is mainly aluminium and helps protect passengers in different weather conditions.
